Our First Night Out

We had our first night out together without Keegan tonight. Grandma offered to watch him while we had a date night. It was very hard to leave him....I wanted to cry and have Jason turn the car around, but once we were at dinner it was a nice break and nice to have time with each other. Keegan slept almost the whole time he was with Grandma.

When we got back Keegan woke up and started sucking his thumb for the first time. He is really discovering his hands lately. Then we had to stay and play Wii for a few minutes!

This is a very big step for us to start our landscaping (FINALLY) since we have already been in our house over a year now. Jason had the very unfortunate job of having to go and weed eat the property before they could start working on it, but he did get a fancy new tool to do the work with! He is definitely becoming a true Clear Lake resident with a chainsaw and a weed eater. These are pictures of the yard before and in progress.

Now the next step is grass and for Keegan to get a little bigger so he can play on it.

Sleepy Time

Keegan spends lots of time sleeping during the day and since I am home alone with him during the week I have ended up with a big collection of pictures of him sleeping (and a few of him awake). He also took a nap in his crib for the first time this week.....it looked pretty funny since he is so tiny.

July 3rd and 4th

This was an exciting weekend for all of us. Keegan got to meet his Great Grandma Huffman for the first time.

It was also Jason's 31st birthday and Keegan's 1 month birthday on the 4th of July so we had a big BBQ....although we suck at taking pictures so there aren't any of the party! Oops!
